Smooth Sound Alliance
The Howland Cultural Center, Beacon's unparalleled arts and entertainment venue, now celebrating its 40th Anniversary in bringing the arts and entertainment to Beacon and the Hudson Valley, is pleased to present the Smooth Sound Alliance, featuring Joel Carpenter (keyboard), Louie Cantarini (bass/guitar), Ralph Atkins (bass/guitar), John Grady (percussion) and Pat Greer-Earle (vocals).
The Smooth Sound Alliance, which originally began as a Jazz Trio from the Mid-Hudson Valley and features a sound not captured by any other jazz ensemble in the area, was founded by Pat Greer-Earle, John Grady and Louie Cantarini. The Alliance plays music in its purest form, with real vocals and real instruments, both jazz standards and popular songs. They are often joined by a host of other musicians who team up with the Alliance from time to time when they need a break from everyday, ordinary music and want to groove with the Alliance's ever so smooth sound.
Tickets in advance: $10 at smoothsoundalliance.bpt.me Tickets at the door: $15
Snacks provided; wine, beer, etc. available.
