(POSTPONED) Society of Professional Journalists Region 10 Annual Conference
UPDATE: In light of ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, particularly in the Puget Sound area, this event is postponed to sometime this fall. We will update this page soon with new information once a new date is selected.
The Society of Professional Journalists Western Washington Professional Chapter is excited to announce the Region 10 Annual conference at the University of Washington.
Our speakers are journalists who understand the issues with the greatest impact on the Pacific Northwest. Learn from award-winning journalists about covering wildfires, homelessness, climate change and the influence of the far right in our communities.
Keynote speaker Bryan Pollard, a 2020 JSK Journalism Fellow and former president of the Native American Journalists Association, will talk about the issues facing journalists in Indian Country.
Tickets cover admission and the price of lunch. Free parking is available at the venue.
