Bethany Smith, Adam Crabtree, and Brit Clark
Friday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m. is a fun opportunity at the Mitchell Opera House to experience local talent and a variety of music! Three local artists, Bethany Smith, Adam Crabtree, and Brit Clark will all perform their own set.
Adam Crabtreeis a singer/songwriter from Owensboro, Kentucky. He has been playing since he was 12 years old and comes from a musical family. He started playing in public when he was stationed in Bamberg, Germany, while in the United State Army and continues to play publicly any chance that he gets. His dream is to one day be a published songwriter and continue to entertain whenever and wherever he can! Adam plays country, rock, blues, and more.
Bethany Smith is a singer/songwriter from Southern Indiana. She was raised in Salem, Indiana and currently resides in Georgetown. She has been singing since before she could talk and her favorite memories are of sitting at the piano for hours with her grandfather. She has taught herself how to play both the piano and the guitar and loves all kinds of music. She loves to sing anywhere she has the opportunity and looks forward to every opportunity she is given. Bethany will perform country, contemporary, pop, and christian music.
Brit Clark has spent most of her years singing and entertaining crowds from all over. Brit was born in Salem, Indiana to Maria Knapp (Smith) who was also a local musician who had played the piano & sang for 50 years. It was discovered by Brits mother that she could sing at the small age of 3. Brit has made her way to Nashville for The Voice and Americas Got Talent and has also spent time with local bands. Brit was the 4th Round Winner for the Opera House Talent Show, 1st Place winner for Dogwood Idol in 2011, and 3rd place winner of Dogwood Idol in 2010. She sang the National Anthem for the Harlem Wizards in 2013 & 2014.
