The Hunchback of Notre Dame
SOLD OUT SHOWS:

As we are selling out our final performances of Hunchback, there still may be a way to get tickets to see the show. At one-hour before curtain time we will start taking a waitlist. This can only be done in person at the box office at school. As people turn in unused tickets, or reserve tickets are not picked up, we will sell these tickets to the people on the list. Our goal is to fill the theater with every seat filled, but there are no guarantees if you put your name on the list we will have tickets for you.

Music by Alan Menken  |  Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz |  Book by Peter Parnell

Seattle Prep proudly presents the heroic musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Based on the Victor Hugo epic novel featuring songs from the Disney animated film, Hunchback will delight audiences with its powerful songs and "bell ringing" adventures all wrapped around a timeless tale of love and acceptance.

The story begins as the Cathedral bells of Notre Dame sound throughout Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be "Out There," observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn't the only one captivated by her free spirit, though the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies and its up to Quasimodo to save them all.

Travel back to 15th century Paris with our award-winning theatre program. The cast includes 49 talented Prep students under the direction of Adam Othman and Elliot Weeks. Audiences will be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable story and with only two weekends, tickets will sell quickly.
