What time do the festival gates open?
Gates open at 11:00 am.
What time does the music start?
Music starts at Noon
Where I can buy tickets in advanced in the Augusta, Ga area.
Other than online, tickets can be purchased (WITH CASH OR CHECK ONLY) at the Forward McDuffie office in Thomson. 149 Main Street, Thomson, GA 30824
Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Yes. Gate tickets are $45
Are we permitted to bring a small cart to transport chairs, blankets etc from the parking?
Yes
Can we bring in coolers/food and drinks?
No
Will you be selling Beer or Wine?
Yes. There will be beer and wine available.
How many people bring children? Would you say this event is kid friendly?
This is a very kid friendly event! Lots of southern hospitality and friendly folks! We do not, however have a designated area for kids to play.
Is parking inside the ticketing gates? Will we be able to return to our cars after entering?
Parking (which is free) is right next to the festival site but outside of the ticketing gate. You will be allowed to leave and return up to 3 times.
How far are the cars from the gate if outside?
Not very far. Parking is right next to the festival site.
Do kids under 12 require a ticket?
No. Kids 12 and under are free.
Is the venue wheelchair friendly? What about restrooms?
We do have handicap restrooms available. This event is in an open field. We have had patrons in wheelchairs attend, but be aware that there are grades and unleveled areas to deal with.
Do you allow 10x10 canopy tents? and the regulations on them if you do?
Yes. Canopy tents are allowed on the back perimeter of the seating area.
What time does _______ band go on?
We will release a schedule about a week out from the event
How late in the day does the festival usually run?
The last act goes on at 6:30. Everything is usually wrapped up by 8:30.
How can I be considered to be a performer?
We have a CLOSED artist submission process.
