YachtCon V: Homecoming
The single most important social event of the Seattle soccer scene's offseason is upon us once again. YachtCon V: Homecoming will be the best one yet, hoping to build off a legacy that has seen us raise more than $20,000 for various Seattle Children's Hospital departments. This year, we hope to raise the bar even more and are setting a $10,000 fundraising goal with a big boost from our friends at Sounder at Heart and SB Nation.
Like previous events, this year will feature several interviews with a who's who of movers and shakers in the professional soccer world. We'll also have a photo booth, games, a charity auction and other elements that will make this the time of your life.
New to this year's event is our venue: Hale's Palladium in the Fremont neighborhood, right behind the Hale's Ales Brewery. This will be the first time that we will have a dedicated event space and are excited to make the most of it.
This year's theme is "homecoming" which is a play on the Sounders winning MLS Cup at home, it being the week of the home opener and also a nod to dance scenes from our favorite 80s movies. Feel free to treat this as a night out with friends.
Some quick notes on ticketing:
- GA tickets are $20 and include a concession voucher good for either one alcoholic drink OR a NA drink AND a food item. There will be plenty of chairs so that anyone who wants a seat will have one
- Reserved tables are $160 for the entire table and include four tickets (the ticketing software is forcing us to sell them as four separate tickets, so apologies for any inconvenience). In addition to 4 tickets and table at the front of the stage, you also get 4 concession vouchers, a name plate with all the attendees' names and 4 swag bags.
- Ultimate VIP treatment is $400. There's currently just one of these available, but we will likely auction off another before the event. Purchasing this gets you the same perks as Reserved Table PLUS exclusive access to green room for 4; catered taco bar from El Camion; VIP lanyard; and opportunities to meet special guests.
