East Bay Eats brings community together to raise money for different non-profit organizations working in the East Bay (and SF!). Every other month - with pop ups in between - we host a family-style, community dinner at some of the Bay's most beloved restaurants. To date, our work has raised over $300K for a variety of amazing organizations.
Join us March 16th at Zuni to support the incredible work of The Friends of Alemany Farm, a local nonprofit that grows over 12 tons of produce annually at San Francisco's largest urban agriculture site, Alemany Farm. One hundred percent of their crops are offered to the public free of charge, boosting food security for low income populations. They are also committed to teaching Bay Area urban residents how to grow their own food, modeling regenerative agricultural solutions to climate change, increasing ecological knowledge and habitat value, and sowing the seeds for economic and food justice.
Representatives from Alemany will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event for the organization. A signature cocktail may be ordered throughout the night at the cash bar - 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to the organization.
Tickets cost $100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
