Canzona Women's Ensemble: Dance Me to the Stars!
Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, "Dance Me to the Stars" explores the vast richness of our universe with pieces like "Moon Goddess" by Jocelyn Hagen, "Child with the Starry Crayon" by Eleanor Daley, and "One Blue Sky" by Dale Trumbore.
Canzona welcomes Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo and their artistic director Theresa Slobodnik to share the stage with new choreography of Christine Donkins "Magnificat", and other selections. The twinkling of stars, the glow of the moon, the warmth of the rising sun and the many mysteries of our universe are sure to entertain and entrance in this afternoon concert focused on the heavens.
