Cross-Cultural Project 2020 builds on en Taikos prior RACC funded projects to enhance appreciation of cultural diversity through music. This time, en Taiko (the K-12 taiko group) collaborates with Portland saxophonist/composer Patrick McCulley, infusing taiko with Jazz rhythms. These performances of music blended from diverse sources will help to promote greater awareness and understanding to our audiences as well as the participants of how different cultures enrich our lives.
