Dear Somerlele Community,

After checking in with all our performers and our venue, and giving this much thought, we've made the difficult but very necessary decision to  cancel our 2020 event as a precaution related to the coronavirus.

We will be rescheduling Somerlele, hopefully for the same weekend next year, on May 16, 2021. We're still working out all the new details and will update you as soon as possible. We will still have Stu Fuchs as our headliner as planned and hope to offer you the same great instruction, jams, concert, and more that we were planning for 2020.

We hope you will be able to attend our rescheduled date in 2021, but if not, refunds are available by contacting Brown Paper Tickets at refunds@brownpapertickets.com. Please be sure to include your order confirmation number.

If you're not sure about your plans for next year but would like to offer your purchase as a contribution to our organization, we truly appreciate your support. Please email Amy at 4stringserenade AT gmail DOT com to let us know.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we hope to see you again soon. In the meantime, soon we'll be sharing some links where you can watch great ukulele performances, take online classes and private lessons with some of our staff, and/or shop for all your ukulele needs.
Best,
Amy Kucharik - Somerlele

The second annual Somerville Ukulele Festival, Somerlele, is an afternoon and evening of workshops and performances, open to all skill levels. Participants will have opportunities to learn and advance their ukulele playing skills, perform in an open mic, and attend a concert featuring our ukulele masters. Our headline performer for this year will be Grammy-nominated performer and teacher Stu Fuchs! We'll also feature the Ladies Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestra with Bernice Lewis and Mariah Colorado. Amy Kucharik opens. See bios below for more information!

Workshop leaders include Stu, Bernice, Mariah, Danno Sullivan, and Anne Ku. A complete schedule of workshops will be available soon! Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up in advance for workshops once our schedule is finalized.

This year, we're also hosting a top-notch selection of ukulele-related vendors from across New England! More info on vendors coming soon!

Advance registrations are recommended. Participants may want to bring a folding music stand. BYOU (Bring Your Own Uke). This event, though open to all ages, is recommended for ukulele players ages 13 and up.
