GUEST WORKSHOP: Edging for The Audience's Pleasure & Yours w/ Crocodile Lightning
Refine the art of tease and captivate the audience even when you are not stripping in this stage presence and act development workshop. Let's put the audience at the edge of their seats and tease them some more until they explode with maximum pleasure! Crocodile Lightning will discuss some of her tried and true techniques she uses before, during, and after her performances. Then, she will put those techniques into practice with you in the movement-based section of the workshop. Bring notepads, water, comfortable dance attire, and an open mind. Heels are optional.

About the Instructor:
The Enchantress of the East and the Scarlet Siren of Siam, Crocodile Lightning is a high-voltage temptress whose face tells a tale and whose gaze electrifies you. With a blast of humor, a splash of sensuality, and a flash of naughtiness, she is here to captivate you with her dazzling performance. Crocodile Lightning has twirled her signature ribbons and performed across the USA and in New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, and Canada.
She is also an OG (Original Goddess) of the House of Knyle. Under the tutelage of the Queen Mother, Egypt Blaque Knyle, Crocodile Lightning has strengthened her grip on the throbbing passion at the root of burlesque. She is ready to make you explode with maximum pleasure with her performance. Crocodile Lightning is crowned the 2019 Queen Ambassador of the Noire Pageant. She was the headliner at the 7th Fierce! Queer Performing Arts Festival in Columbus, OH in May 2019 and the featured performer and the winner of the Biggest Tease award at the 7th Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival in June 2019.
THE TWIN CITIES BURLESQUE ACADEMY is Minnesota's first school of its kind. Founded by Ophelia Flame and Gina Louise who have been performing together since 2003 and teaching burlesque workshops since 2005. The belief that there's a bit of show pony in all of us is the drive behind their mission: to teach burlesque technique, performance, and history while encouraging self-expression and body confidence, welcoming students of all levels and backgrounds.
