We Are Here (&) This Is Now is the latest collaboration between San Francisco choreographers Manuelito Biag, Tristan Ching Hartmann, Kara Davis, Nol Simonse, and Victor Talledos. As an immersive, evening-length dance installation for the 16,000 square foot DZINE furniture gallery, this project examines human connection and intimacy in various ways across diverse and staged living spaces  from bedrooms to bathrooms to outdoor settings. The audience can move freely within the gallery throughout the performance, curating a unique perspective and experience for themselves.

Manuelito Biag is the artistic director of SHIFT>>> Physical Theater, a contemporary dance company he co-founded in 1998. SHIFT>>> has been awarded grants from the Zellerbach Family Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Theater Bay Area-CA$H, among others. In 2007, his evening-length work, The Shape of Poison, was hailed as one of the years top dance events by the San Francisco Chronicle. Manuelito was recognized by Dance Magazine in 2009 as one of the Top 25 to Watch. Alongside his collaborators, he was awarded in 2011 by the Isadora Duncan/Bay Area Dance Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography.
