MODEL MINORITY is a standup comedy showcase featuring womxn of the Asian diaspora.

HOST Dewa Dorje
Dewa Dorje is a Tibetan American stand up comic born and raised in Seattle. Her raunchy comedic style, upbeat energy, and first generation background team up to bring the audience her unique feminist perspective. She runs the comedy showcase Loudmouth C*nts and a female-focused open mic The Comedy Nest." She has performed at the All Jane Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, and cant wait to see where her comedy career takes her next.

Ellen Acuario
Ellen Acuario is a Seattle Based comedian and actor that has performed on Seattle Intersections Festival, Risk Podcast Live show and Women In Comedy Festival sponsored by HBO. When she not hitting the stage for laughter, you can find her caffeinating to keep herself and her two little humans alive.
Stephanie Nam
Stephanie is a Seattle-based comic who grew up Las Vegas but has moved 10 times in the past 4 years across 4 different continents and can (kind of) speak 4 languages. Stephanie holds many identities that have been invisibilized in society and counteracts constantly being told that they don't exist by getting on stage despite their social anxiety and introversion. Stephanie produces monthly shows that feature underrepresented voices in comedy and the arts under Caracol Productions and is a co-producer at The Comedy Nest a womxn-focused open mic and comedy show. Umi Om
Umi Om is a bisexual and biracial comedian who touches on topics of gender, relationships, and mental health. Umi is South Indian and Lebanese. She was born in Hawai'i and has been enjoying the Pacific Northwest since 2018. Stand-up comedy is her longest relationship, going three years strong. She has performed in Honolulu on "Female Comics of Hawai'i," at the "Dragon Upstairs Showcase," in Portland at Devil's Den, in Bothel on "Laftech," in Seattle at "NW Peaks Brewing," and currently cohosts "Naked Brunch" an improv style mic.
Bernice Ye
Once a clueless immigrant who didnt speak English, now an entitled American citizen. Seattle-based comic Bernice Ye has always been a rebel and outsider in both worlds. She explores themes that range from everyday life to feminism and cultural identity, combining humor with great insight.Bernice has performed in Northwest Womens Comedy Festival, San Diego Comedy Festival, Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival, NBCs Standup Seattle Live Audition as well as clubs and shows all over WA, OR and CA. She is also a writer on The Syndrome Magazine, with the mission to empower women, one joke at a time. Dont be fooled by her sunny, sweet disposition, this one knows how to bite.
Cindy Su
Cindy is a local actor, comedian, and writer. Her long list of dreams include being a cartoon and making her own kung fu movie.
