So you know how to make elderberry syrup, and youre replete with knowledge about echinacea. What else can you incorporate into your medicine cabinet to keep yourself well through cold season?
In Cold Kicker 201, Missy Rohs of the Arctos School will assume that you know the basics about herbal antivirals and immune stimulants. Well dive deeper into plant allies for specific symptoms, covering at least six botanical medicines in depth to expand your herbal repertoire. Well discuss simple but profound home therapies for sniffles, coughs, and sore throats and well try some out ourselves! Each student will make a cold kicker medicinal honey to take home to fight off any respiratory viruses that come their way.
This class builds on knowledge from Cold Kicker 101: Herbal Strategies to Fight Respiratory Viruses (Jan. 16). These classes can be taken together or on their own. There is a discount for registering for both at the same time.
Class held in SE Portland. Cost is $60 dollars for Cold Kicker 201, including all materials. Sliding scale available. Registration required by January 12.
Students can register for both Cold Kicker classes (Jan. 16 & Feb. 6) together for only $90. Contact Missy for details.
