CHAIR FLOW (Spring 2020)

Come discover the magic of chair dance skills and learn what this simple apparatus can do to amp up your choreo and performances. Kinsey S. Kale will lead you through eight separate lessons on how bodies of all sizes and dances of all styles can benefit from chair dynamics. Each class will be one part skills and one part chair flow to a different style of music each week. Great for beginners or experienced performers.

Cost: $90 advance registration / $120 day of class for 8-weeks or $15 single class

About the Instructor:
KINSEY S. KALE has been dancing since age five and using her skill set for burlesque/cabaret performance for the past four years. She has been choreographing and teaching chair dance since 2016. Kinsey enjoys inspiring all dancers to find their inner prowess and confidence. She can be seen performing around town with Babelight Productions as a soloist and also dominating stages with her crew of babes, Kinsey and the Killers. A class with Kinsey is sure to steam up a room and have you walk out feeling like a boss.

About The Academy:
Formerly known as The Playful Peacock Academy, THE TWIN CITIES BURLESQUE ACADEMY is Minnesota's first school of its kind. Founded by Ophelia Flame and Gina Louise, who have been performing together since 2003 and teaching burlesque workshops since 2005. The belief that there's a bit of show pony in all of us is the drive behind their mission: to teach burlesque technique, performance, and history while encouraging self-expression and body confidence, welcoming students of all levels and backgrounds.
