SugarShuttle: Sugarloaf & Hood Mtn, Los Alamos Lot
Catch a ride on the Sugar Shuttle to thru-hike from Sugarloaf to Hood Mountain Regional Park's Los Alamos lot.
Our shuttle departs every-other-hour from Sugarloaf (first), and Hood Mountain's Los Alamos lot (NOT Pythian Rd). Make a reservation, ride to the trail's other end, and hike back, or vice-versa!
You will cross some of Sonoma County's most important creeks including critical steelhead habitat. This 7.5-mile one-way hike includes 2,000 feet of climbing, and takes ~4-5 hours. Bring sunscreen, snacks, and lots of water.
