Start a Food Business from your Home Kitchen

Launch a food product business from your home kitchen.  Yes, you can! Join co-authors Lisa Kivirist and John Ivanko as they offer a crash course, based on their book HOMEMADE FOR SALE, on becoming food product entrepreneurs in your home kitchen. Nearly every state now has a cottage food law that applies to baked goods and/or high acid canned food products like pickles, preserves, jams and jellies.  Lisa served as a plaintiff in the successful lawsuit that now makes it legal to sell baked goods made in your home kitchen in Wisconsin.  Adults-only workshop.

From pies to pickles, wedding cakes to bread, preserves to decorated cookies, fledgling food entrepreneurs now have the freedom to earn, producing non-hazardous foods in their home kitchen and selling them to the public. Finally, "homemade" and "fresh from the oven" on the package means exactly what it reads.

BONUS: A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
