Testimonials from the first Movement Tools for Healthcare Practitioners

David is an experienced teacher, skilled mover, curious student, and playful human. His love of movement and passion to continue expanding his toolset through his body and mind are clear, and he enthusiastically shares what he has learned with his students. I am grateful he has done all the work (so I don't have to) and distilled a lot of researched/tested/proven information into digestible pieces that I can easily apply to my own movement practice, and share with my clients to help them regain mobility and ease in their bodies. I also love that the structure of his workshops encourage presence, focus, lots of movement and sweating and playing, and connection/interaction with other people. I think this was the only full-day class I have attended where I never got bored and my attention didn't start to wander, even in the afternoon. This is a testament to the intelligent structure of the event and David's awareness and adaptability as a teacher.

This workshop offered a thorough, accessible, and experiential approach to integrating basic movement medicine into your healthcare practice- for your clients and for yourself.  David's vision of a better life for us all by practicing and sharing dynamic movement is inspiring and the benefits are immediately palpable. This workshop provided me with a basic movement medicine framework to talk about with a client, along with various movement studies that can be scaled for the absolute beginner to advanced movement makers.  We walked away with a simple blueprint of how to prescribe movement medicine along with the direct experience of its benefits- seeing, doing, and feeling will lead to believing. The workshop was delightful, well balanced, and I highly recommend for anyone interested in health and well-being.
