Getting Leashed: A Pet Play Intensive
Curious about pet play but don't know where to start? Or maybe you've been moshing for ages and want to take it to the next step with training and a deeper understanding of your headspace? Join Adventure Pup, Oregon State Puppy 2018,for a 3-hour intensive on pet play!
Pet Play 101 talks about what it is and why folks do it, the different kinds of pets and dynamics, how to safely enjoy this community-building kink, and a reference for great local resources to explore the lifestyle.
Pet Play 201 elaborates on different roles within pet play and how they relate to other aspects of the BDSM world such as service or D/s dynamics, social issues that are prevalent in the lifestyle and what you can do to help make the lifestyle welcoming for folks of all identities, and how to deepen your connection to your pet persona.
Trainers and Handlers covers communication both in and out of headspace with hands-on demonstrations, training, positions, and how to decide if being a rogue, part of a pack, or with a Handler is right for you. We will also discuss Top/Handler/Alpha duties in the scene and how to build a strong bond with all parties involved.

About our Presenter:
After discovering his kinky self in the Southern Oregon community, Adventure Pup moved to San Francisco and became heavily involved in the gay, Leather, and kink communities there. Now back in his favorite rainy city and Oregon State Puppy 2018, his neon green muzzle and cropped pitbull ears can often be seen exploring the beautiful Oregon wilderness, busy getting flogged on a cross, or working a bootblack stand. He works to improve diversity and acceptance in the lifestyle as a proud and visible trans pup, and he promotes kink education through his bimonthly class series in Portland.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF PBS TO ATTEND THIS CLASS
This workshop is going to encourage active participation, but we want to make sure we have an educational and comfortable experience for everyone involved. We follow these principals of teaching consent:
No One is required to participate in anything that makes them uncomfortable. If at any time you feel pressure to participate, you should feel free to speak to a representative of the space during or after the class or workshop.
You are not expected to contribute to the discussion in any way if you do not wish to.
The instructor will inform the workshop attendees of anyone working as a teaching assistant bottom, as well as any of their pre-negotiated rules regarding how the bottom will participate to make sure that attendees are given full awareness of consent.
If there is something unclear in the workshop, you are not required to request clarification at the time, if you wish private clarification, the instructor will give contact information so you may get that clarification if needed.
