The New Year is coming, and that's a good time to refresh your board's understanding of their role.
On Saturday, January 11, all board members are invited to an interactive and challenging look at strategies for improving your governance effectiveness. Topics include productive meetings, board recruiting, what to do with difficult members, and how you can work toward Generative Governance.
The seminar will be held from 9 to 11 am in Tacoma. Class size is limited to ten people ($30/person). Please note: pre-registration is required and the refund deadline is January 8. However, substitutions are welcomed if you find you cannot attend.
The seminar is presented by Sound Nonprofits and will be led by Liz Heath, Principal of the firm. Her extensive background in nonprofit leadership and training will enrich the discussions. A recent seminar attendee said, "I gave you all fives! This session was so informative, and I really liked how you involved us all in the discussion."
