Pedaling Preservation: A Biking Tour of Historic Boise Schools
Join architectural historian, Dan Everhart, of the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office for a bicycle tour of historic Boise schools in the North End and beyond. Learn how educational facilities in Idahos capital city have evolved from the pioneer era to today and how funding, student populations, and architectural trends have shaped the buildings in which our children learn.
Participants should expect to complete a five-mile round trip loop while riding on city streets. This tour will take place rain or shine, so arrive prepared with suitable safety and riding equipment.
