When trust is present in a group, it is obvious. People collaborate easily, meet challenges with a flurry of creative solutions, and do their best work. Productivity increases and work satisfaction soars. Trust is the connective tissue that holds a team together during challenging times and enables them to emerge stronger and healthier. Trust is essential, yet so many teams struggle to build trust in the face of long-standing, negative cycles of behavior and self-reinforcing patterns.
