BUILD A POOL CONFERENCE
This workshop will provide you with the most up to date information you need to know when planning a new pool. This workshop covers everything from programming the pool to building a cutting-edge aquatic center. Our goal is to provide you the information you need to ensure your project is the centerpiece for health and safety in your community, while still being financially sustainable. You will know how to make the best choices for architects, engineers and other professionals to form your team of planners. The right people involved with the best plan for programming and design gives the project the best chance for success.

Morning Session:
Counsilman-Hunsaker will lead a hands-on workshop addressing unique market needs, understanding aquatic potentials and how to achieve them, preparing program plans that focus on revenue generation, applying participant and program lifecycle strategies to program plans, and creating a revenue policy
This will include presentation of an overview of the feasibility study process and key considerations for building a financially sustainable aquatic facility. The presentation will cover the various facets of aquatic facility development and explain why programming precedes design. The presentation will also include examples of existing facilities for consideration and idea generation, and answer questions.
*Due to space limitations and ensure workshop is conversational and not a lecture each attendee needs to be registered.
Afternoon Session:
Small group session with Kevin Post. Kevin will work with each small group to determine project goals, next step and objectives.
*Time blocks are set for 30 min with a 15 min transition or overlap. (Sign-up at door)
*There is no limit on group size however a more focused group will provide more focus results.
