Salute to Beethoven
Throughout 2020, the whole world will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)! This musical mastermind created compositions that continue to astound and inspire generations of music lovers. Were kicking off Beethovens celebratory year with a concert of his sensational sonatas. Distinguished concert pianist, Milena Urban and Grammy-winning violinist, Lorenzo Raval will perform a selection of Beethovens sonatas for violin and piano including Sonata no. 3 for Piano and Violin in E-Flat Major, Op. 12, and Sonata no. 9 for Piano and Violin in A Major, Op. 47 Kreutzer. We invite you to join us as we commemorate one of the most remarkable composers in the Western Musical Canon with a night of powerful performances of Beethovens most cherished works for violin and piano.
