Sanctuary Tour & Meet the Animals Oct. 18

Join us for a casual, interactive tour at our sanctuary on Fri. Oct. 18 at 6 pm! Visit the animals, hear about their history and how they came to live here, what their life used to be like and what it is like now! It's a great opportunity to get to know the animals, ask any questions that you have about them, or about sanctuary life in general!

My talking portion about the animals generally lasts 30-45 minutes- from there, you are free to get to know the animals in any way that is pleasing to them. You are free to leave as soon as you'd like, or stay up to about an hour and a half. We deeply respect the individuals who live at Dominion, so any interactions with them are according to their comfort and desires, first and foremost.

We will ask that you sign a liability release and we graciously accept any tax-deductible donations to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to benefit the animals.

No need to bring anything, but if you'd like to, the pigs love watermelon or cantaloupe, pumpkins or squash (don't cut it small!)... pretty much anything except for green beans, peppers, avocados/orange peels/lemons. The chickens love sliced cucumbers, blueberries, grapes cut in half, or diced oranges.

These tours are limited to small groups - more than about 12 people is too many people to let the pigs out to roam. No refunds or date transfers are possible with such small groups, if you purchase a ticket and can not join us, please consider it a donation to our sanctuary. Please let us know if you can't attend.

* Accessibility note- parking and the animals and sanctuary are on wide open flat land, however a minimum of 6 steps (with no handrail) is required to get inside the house to a bathroom. A Meijer store is 5 driving minutes away which has accessible bathrooms.
