Male Tears: A Clown Castration is a devised theatre/clown/performance/cabaret/jazzy-confessional piece that teases apart masculinity, unraveling and unburdening a history of masculine constructs. Using source material ranging from our own personal histories to the washboard abs of Ryan Reynolds, we unpack a lifetime of patriarchal baggage while keeping our own packages bagged in shiny red and blue hot pants! Let's take a trip together down this rabbit hole and unearth new forms of positive masculinity and allyship--- maybe a bit more than just putting the seat down.
