Secrets of the Bower House
Secrets of the Bower House is an evening-length event inspired by the concept of home. This immersive work uses performance, installation, projection, and music to explore themes of familial relationships, identity, labor, life patterns, and the body. Individual narratives are woven together through vignettes that invite the audience on a stream-of-consciousness journey through time, memory, fantasy, and absurdity.
Join us as we explore the layers of real and imagined history of our venue, MRS MacCORMICK'S YARD, a 19th century home in the process of being reborn. Step into the world woven together from the narratives, questions, and visions of twenty St. Louis artists.
