The Eagle and the Condor: From Standing Rock with Love
BRENNON NASTACIO, WATER PROTECTOR FROM SAN FELIPE PUEBLO, IS STILL FACING FEDERAL CHARGES FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT. Film maker KAHSTO'SERAKWATHE PAULETTE MOORE documented the struggle of the water protectors who non-violently protested the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock in this amazing film. ALL PROCEEDS will fund the legal fees for water protector, Brennon Nastacio, who is still facing trial and prison time simply for standing up for the land, water and native peoples. Brennon and filmmaker Paulette Moore will also be speaking and answering questions after the film. This event is being sponsored by NM Acequia Association, NM Red Nation, UNM Indigenous Planning Institute, NM 350, and the Indigenous Rights Center. TICKETS: $8.00 ADULTS,$5.00 CHILDREN AND SENIORS.
