Learn to Curl Thursday August 1st with the Mid South Curling Club
On Thursday, August 1st, 7:30 PM-10:00 PM come to the Mid South Ice House in Olive Branch, MS to have a curling experience! Our members will teach you the basics on how to curl and then you'll put your skills to the test in a friendly game. We will practice throwing stones down the ice, sweeping them into the house and you'll finally get to learn exactly what's going on when you watch curling during the Winter Olympics!
All you need to curl is a pair of tennis shoes or sneakers (no sandals or open toed shoes please). We'll have everything else you need. Also, wear layers. You'd be surprised how warm it can get once you start playing.
Price is $30 for a single person or $25 per person if you sign up a group of 2 or more.
