Mabon/Fall Equinox Witch's Ladder Workshop with Chelsea!
Witch's ladders, also known as rope-and-feathers or witches garlands, are a physical manifestation of personal intention made using a combination of knot-magick, numerology, and the magickal symbolism of the natural world. Ingredients (feathers, bones, shells, etc.) are knotted with specific magickal intention into the cords. The number of knots and the nature of the ingredients varies with each individual's intended effect. Join Chelsea for a hands-on witch's ladder workshop centered around themes of Mabon/Fall Equinox, which include balance between light and dark, the descent into the dark part of the year, cycles of death and rebirth, resolving old business, rest, relaxation, and reflection.
You will learn the appropriate instances in which to cast a witch's ladder, what tools are required, general assembly, and how set intention. No prior knowledge of witchcraft or witch's ladders is necessary, and individuals of all knowledge and backgrounds are welcome. All materials will be provided, though I strongly encourage participants to bring a personal item that can be worked into the ladder. This could be a lock of hair, a baby tooth, a stone/mineral/crystal with personal value, etc.
ABOUT CHELSEA
Chelsea is a self-taught Pagan, practicing eclectic magick centered on the elements, the natural world, and the cosmos. While most of her early practice was solitary, after hosting a coven ritual for Samhain, she became eager to share and expand her practice with other likeminded women/femmes.
Chelsea has 8 years of experience working with various forms of magick, honing skills in tarot & divination, casting and creating spell bottles, calling the quarters, casting sacred circles, invoking the elements, charms, sigil work, bindings, and yes, one or two hexes. While she is by no means an expert, and remains a pupil to the craft of magick, she would love the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience she has acquired.
