In 2010, a Barleywine was put into 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon barrels that had previously held Bourbon County Stout for 2 years. This would be the first time we would ever brew a Barleywine and it became arguably the most sought after beer to ever come from Goose Island. As the years passed and supplies dwindled, many thought they may never see this beer again, but we coveted this beer just like many of you, and patiently cellared cases in hopes that we could continue to enjoy King Henry for many years to come. After over 8 years of carefully doling out small amounts for special occasions, our supplies have finally dried up. With the final cases and the absolute last keg of King Henry in our possession, we have decided to send this beer off in a celebration of Barleywine fit for a King. Come join us as we say Farewell to the King of Barleywines and lay to rest all that remains of our beloved King Henry.
This event will be held at the Fulton St. Taproom and is a ticketed event. Because of the limited quantities of King Henry bottles we have, each ticket will only include 1 bottle, however you are allowed to bring a guest to enjoy a pour of every Barleywine weve ever packaged including King Henry, as well as food by Lillies Q & Man B Que.

Ticket name must match a valid ID. All participants must be at least 21 years old. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Tickets are not for resale and those caught reselling tickets will be subject to forfeiture of ticket without refund. LIMIT ONE TICKET PURCHASE PER PERSON.
