HCC Day Trip: to the New-York Historical Society Museum & Library
'The Hudson Rising' explores 200 years of ecological change and environmental activism "along the most interesting in America' through artifacts, media, and celebrated Hudson River School Paintings. Other exhibits include the Tiffany Gallery of Lamps, 'Augusta Savage: Renaissance Woman', Audubon's Birds of America, Collector's Choice: Highlights from the Museum's Collections and many more. Each group participant receives transportation to and from the museum, admission to all museum exhibits, admission to the film, 'New York Story', and the Center For Women's History film, 'We Rise'. a 10% discount in the museum store, and a voucher for reduced museum admission on a future visit. Several museum restaurants will be open for lunch.
The deluxe, fully-equipped bus will leave Beacon promptly at 9:00 AM from the Henry Street Municipal Parking Lot directly behind the Yankee Clipper Diner, and New York City at 3:30 PM.
50 participants are required; fewer than that and the trip will be canceled. There will be no refunds after July 2nd.
