Cultural Humility and Well-Being in Clinical Supervision
The purpose of this 6 hour (one-day) training is to provide background knowledge and context for competency-based clinical supervision and to introduce and review a diversity of evidence-based approaches (including models, to conduct multiculturally competent supervision. The intent is to begin to provide the empirical data necessary to assist the supervisor in supporting trainees development while also maintaining ethical client-consumer care. Specifically, the focus of this training is to address competencies in clinical supervision using the Competency Benchmarks across the professional lifespan of the mental health trainee and beyond.
