A poor woodcutter, whose sole dream in life is to experience a day without hunger, is caught at a crossroads when his dream comes true

Teatro Visións Macario is a Día de los Muertos celebration full of music, dance, spectacle, and inspiration. Based on B. Travens novel and the Academy Award-nominated film adaptation.

Macario is performed in Spanish with English supertitles.
Seating is General Admission. Perfect for the whole family.

ASL interpretation will be provided at the Friday, October 11 performance of Macario.

Saturday, October 12 is Gala Night. The performance is followed by a party with our cast, staff, and board. Enjoy delicious food and dance to live music in the theater lobby. We would love for you to join us! Attendance at the party requires the purchase of an additional $20 admission.

Sunday, October 13 is Girl Scout Day at the Theater. Get your troupe together to see the show and take a special backstage tour after the performance. Use discount code GirlScout and Teatro Visión will donate $1 of each ticket price to Girl Scouts of Northern California.

Thursday, October 17 is College Night. Meet and mingle with your fellow college students from all over the Bay Area at this Macario performance. For assistance with group ticket purchases, contact Edith Macias at edith@teatrovision.org.

Friday, October 18 is Pride Night. Join us as we celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ community and allies.

La historia clásica del Día de los Muertos, a través de la música y la danza, el espectáculo y la canción.

Un humilde leñador, que sólo sueña en estar un día sin hambre, se encuentra en una encrucijada cuando su sueño se vuelve realidad.

La producción de Macario de Teatro Visión celebra el Día de los Muertos con música, danza , espectáculo e inspiración. Basado en el libro de B. Traven y la adaptación de la película nominada al Premio de la Academia.

Macario se presenta en español con supertítulos en inglés.

Se ofrecerá interpretación en ASL en la función del viernes 11 de octubre de Macario.

La Noche de Gala es el sábado 12 de octubre. Después de la función habrá una fiesta con el elenco de la obra, el personal de la compañía y la junta directiva. Disfrute de deliciosa comida y baile con música en vivo en el vestíbulo del teatro. ¡Nos encantaría que nos acompañara! El costo adicional requerido para asistir a la fiesta es de $20.

Domingo 13 de octubre es Día de las Girl Scouts en el teatro. Reúne a tu tropa para venir a ver la obra y disfrutar de un tour detrás de escena después de la función. Utilize el codigo de descuento "GirlScout" y Teatro Visión donará $1 de cada boleto a las Girl Scouts del Norte de California.

Jueves 17 de octubre es Noche de Colegio. Reúnete y disfruta con otros estudiantes del colegio del área de la bahía en esta función de Macario. Para asistancia con la compra de boletos para grupos, contactar a Edith Macias en edith@teatrovision.org.
