Comedy in the Forest presented by the Forest Theater Guild with Monterey Comedy Improv
Join the Forest Theater Guild for a laughter filled night ushering in the start of our summer season. Joining us will be Monterey Comedy Improv and their special guest Laura Hall and Rick Hall. If you were at Comedy in the forest last year, then you know just how much fun this evening is!

Laura Hall is best known as the improvisational pianist and Musical Director on Whose Line is it Anyway?, which ran for eight years on ABC with Drew Carey hosting. During the hiatus, Laura toured the country with Drew Carey and the Improv All Stars. She has played with many other improv groups around the country, including iO Chicago and iO West, The Groundlings, Theatresports, The Improv Institute and Opening Night: The Improvised Musical! To find out more about Laura, visit www.laurahall.com.

Rick Hall was a founding member of Chicagos Improv Institute. At The Second City, he opened two main stage shows, John Paul Sartre & Ringo and Catch 27. Rick was a series regular on the improv-based TV show The Factory. He played Agent Johnson in 28 episodes of the hit Disney show, KC Undercover. Hes been on many other television shows including NCIS, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 24, Key & Peele, The Middle, and Seinfeld. He's been seen in commercials for AT&T, Centrum, Sabra Hummus and many more. To find out more about Rick, visit www.therickhall.com.

Monterey Comedy Improv originated in 2008 as the Mirth-O-Matics and was the brainchild of founder, Gerry Orton. In 2014, troupe member Rich Westbrook became the director of the Mirth-O-Matics and brought his own style of creativity and energy to the mix. Rich led the branding of the troupe into the next generation by changing the name to Monterey Comedy Improv. They have performed at venues including The Wharf Theater, The Pink Flamingo, Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, The Lab, The Moose Lodge, and have also performed for charity events, corporate functions and private parties. www.montereycomedyimprov.com
