Steven Raichlen - Heaven's Table BBQ at the Urbanite
The award-winning barbecue expert Steven Raichlen is coming to a special dinner celebrating the release of The Brisket Chronicles: How to Barbecue, Braise, Smoke, and Cure the World's Most Epic Cut of Meat. This dinner, hosted by Heaven's Table BBQ and Boswell, will be at The Urbanite, 1840 N Farwell Ave.
The cost is $50, including dinner from Chef Jason Alston, tax, fees, and gratuity,and a paperback copy of The Brisket Chronicles, with tickets available at raichlenmke.bpt.me. Chef Jason Alston will feature recipes from the the new book, including, of course, brisket. The event will feature a cash bar from The Pharmacy. Heaven's Table BBQ is part of the Crossroad Collective, the new food hall at Farwell and North.

Winners of 5 James Beard awards and 3 IACP awards, his books have been translated into 17 languages. His TV shows include the public television series Steven Raichlen's Project Smoke, Primal Grill, and Barbecue University. In 2015, he was inducted into the Barbecue Hall of Fame.
The dinner will include a short talk and a book signing. Each ticket includes a copy of The Brisket Chronicles in paperback, or you can upgrade to a hardcover edition. Doors open for this event at 6:00 pm.
