Highlights include: A beautiful trio written by Latvian-American composer and professor at Harvard, Katherine Pukinskis, which is a very unique arrangement of a traditional Latvian folk tune. Featuring Maria Mannisto, Katelyn Isaacson and Marjorie Bunday.
The North American premiere of "O Bone Jesu" by Andris Gailis accompanied by members of the Skyros String Quartet.
The North American premiere of the song cycle "Sava Vieta uz Zemes" ("My Place On The Earth") by Latvian-Canadian composer, Erika Yost.
Fun arrangements of Lithuanian and Estonian folk songs.
To end the concert, a rip-roaring arrangement of Vakaradziesma by Uis Prauli!
