The Chicago Hockey Initiative will host the 2019 Bowling Classic on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at historic Timber Lanes from 2:00-5:30 PM. The 2019 CHI Bowling Classic will benefit the CHI Microgrant Program, which provides direct financial assistance to youth hockey players to offset the cost of equipment, ice time, instruction, and league fees.
The 2019 Chicago Bowling Classic will feature three hours of bowling for full lane reservations and/or individual bowlers and select unlimited beverages for all ticketed attendees. Appearances by Chicago Blackhawks alumni, the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew, and mascot Tommy Hawk are scheduled. Additional attractions include a silent auction featuring autographed Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia, a 50/50 raffle, and complimentary pub grub.
There are a number of ways to support the CHI through the 2019 Bowling Classic. Full lanes can be purchased for a donation of $500, or individual bowlers can purchase tickets for $75. Full lane and individual ticket purchases include complimentary beverages and bowling shoe rentals. CHI supporters who do not wish to bowl may purchase beverage-only packages for $50. If CHI supporters are unable to attend, direct donations would be a wonderful gift in lieu of event attendance. Donations may be made via PayPal at www.chicagohockeyinitiative.org. Workplace donations may be made through Benevity or YourCause.
