AWIS East Bay and 4-DMT present "Building Intentional Connections" with Marilyn Nagel
Come and learn how to "Build Intentional Connections" with Marilyn Nagel at this workshop, co-hosted by AWIS and 4-DMT.
Why should you attend? Women with a strong network are more likely to ask for help in closing a business deal or landing a new role. Having a strong network of relationships helps us increase our ability to reach out, influence, understand what may be going on behind the scenes, create connections with decision makers, and get help in situations when the existing processes may not help us get things done. When women build and maintain meaningful relationships, we are not only more successful in work, but we have a greater sense of well-being.
This workshop explores the importance of networks and gives each participant an opportunity to document their network, evaluate it, and most importantly develop a plan to enhance it. The workshop also includes an opportunity for participants to form new and impactful relationships with others in this session, and ultimately build their network with peers and colleagues.

This program is designed to increase your ability to reach out, influence, and build your personal network, and leverage it to achieve your career goals. It will also detail ways to maximize your relationship with all attending. The event will include activities such as:
-Understanding the value of your network
-Building your business network and connection mapping
-Evaluating the relationships with people on your map
-Developing a plan to add people that support your goals
-Creating new and impactful relationships with others
