** FULL DESCRIPTIONS & MORE INFORMATION **

Regenerative Land Management Training

This fundraiser is raising funds for diversity scholarships for people to attend this new long term program (2 years) in Regenerative Agriculture and Land Management led by Starhawk, Charles Williams and many other guest speakers and mentors through Earth Activist Training. Its based around two ten-day intensives, short internships, a longer-term apprenticeship and many shorter courses, all guided by a personal mentor who will help tailor the program to participants goals and needs. Internship sites will be sought across North America and internationally, so that students can learn from a variety of enterprises, approaches and gain exposure to land management practices and challenges in different cultures. The goal is to develop pathways for more farmers, ranchers, organizers and businesses that are focused on regenerative land management. 20-30 students per course, this new long-term program is designed to give the skills, experience and confidence to run a farm, ranch, retreat center or urban farm in ways that heal damaged ecosystems and sequester carbon. The student often become teachers and leaders who will pass this knowledge on.

Spiral Dance

The Spiral Dance is a participatory ritual of regeneration. Dance the spiral, look into one anothers eyes, and raise the energy and ecstasy we need for renewal. The spiral dance is a group dance where people form a spiral as they dance through the space, it is a fascinating and uplifting experience associated with the Reclaiming movement. It is designed to emphasize community and rebirth, and is also used to raise power for a given cause. The spiral dance will be led by Starhawk.

Hot Buttered Bluegrass Collective

Local favorites Hot Buttered Rum have been rocking the Bay and touring the country and for the last twenty years. These years of travel have given the band the chance to visit the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Newport Folk Festival and, of course, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, to name just a few. Over that time, their original string-band sound has progressed into an upbeat improvisational mix of song-oriented string music with a groove that shuffles between bluegrass, folk, rock, country and back again. For this very special benefit, current HBR members will be joined by co-founder Zac Matthews and his quartet Transit of Venus, another gifted, genre-bending Bay Area string band, for a night of high-stepping collaborative hijinks.

Sea Stars

The Seastars are a band of six sisters dedicated to using art as a vehicle for engagement. They weave six-part vocal harmonies to remind us of the harmony of humans and nature, and the interdependence that fuels all Life. The Seastars have performed at sustainability conferences like GreenBiz's VERGE, major events including Global Climate Action Summit side events and Daybreaker, and festivals like Burning Man.

Since 2002, they have combined storytelling with elements of poetry and song, and have graced the stage with memorable jingles and lessons of sustainability and democracy. The shows are accessible to youth of all ages and reach multiple generations within the same production. Additionally they have toured over 25,000 miles on bio-fuel across the country performing at county fairs, farmers markets, schools, music concerts and festivals.

Flow Kana

Flow Kana will have the first regenerative organic certification in the cannabis space. Organic agriculture is a movement that has been around for a long time and is currently seeing commercial success. In the last 40 years, hundreds of thousands of acres of land has converted to organic farming by essentially going back to the sustainable roots of agriculture and building and caring for the soil.  Outdoor cannabis farming is essential as a model for true carbon-footprint reduction and we need to support outdoor cannabis production. This is especially important in areas with a long and storied history of growing medical cannabis, places where shifting state regulations have made it difficult for small scale homestead farmers to make a living doing what they do best.

In an effort to help the cannabis homestead farms that grow under the sun using the most sustainable, organic, regenerative farming practices possible, Flow Kana, along with various brands, certification bodies and industry associations have worked together to create the Sun+Earth Certified program. This is a non-profit project designed to promote sungrown, ultra-sustainable cannabis production. Sun+Earth Certified is for outdoor farms that make almost all their own fertility inputs with on-farm resources.
