Project Beacon of Hope
April is National Child Abuse Awareness month, join us on this night to celebrate the strength of the survivors, give back, and show support for the children who continue to suffer at the hands of abuse.
Four of the most talented spoken word artists will come together to share a performance stage in an effort to raise funds for Safe Shores.
This night will also include stories of survival from two guest speakers, live drawing, raffles and giveaways all in support of raising awareness for Child Abuse Prevention.
Safe Shores-The DC Children's Advocacy Center is provides intervention, hope and healing for children and families affected by abuse, trauma and violence in the District of Columbia and preventing child abuse through education and training.
