Spring Equinox Meditation
Celebrate the arrival of spring by turning off your smartphone, tuning into your breath, and practicing mindfulness.
The program will feature a brief talk and two periods of sitting led by Ryushin Marchaj, former abbot of the Zen Mountain Monastery.
Drawing on his extensive background as a physician and psychiatrist, Ryushin's infectious interest and thorough training in the workings of the mind, combined with his skill at translating complex concepts into everyday language, characterize his unique teaching style.

Theatre Within is a grassroots non-profit that provides ongoing, free workshops -- in songwriting, illustration, meditation and more -- for those whose lives have been impacted by cancer at Gilda's Club NYC.
