- Complimentary beer and wine tasting - Silent auction - Feature headliner: Rebecca Folsom Band - Opening act: Carolyn Crouse & Pat O'Kelly
On February 20, 2019, the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities (BCAH), a local nonprofit umbrella organization supporting arts and culture, will open the Broomfield Auditorium lobby doors at 6 p.m. to its Annual Benefit to raise funds for the year.
Past events have featured the outstanding Hazel Miller Band and the celebrated Lannie Garrett and After Midnight Band.
This year, we are going a step further to entertain you with an opening act by, none other than, Carolyn Crouse and Pat O'Kelly and a feature performance by the region's top folk/rockin' blues entertainers, Rebecca Folsom - Music and her band.
If you aren't convinced that this will be the event of the year, there's more to this evening of giving and receiving!
There will be a complimentary craft beer tasting, wine tasting, and snack bar in the lobby. Wine is donated by Turquoise Mesa Winery, a Broomfield winery and local treasure.
You'll have silent auction items to bid on that you won't be able to resist. Donated silent auction items include: tickets to the Colorado Ballet, Breckenridge spa gift certificates from Breckenridge Grand Vacations, a signed Colorado Avalanche hockey puck, tickets/wine package to a Denver Film Society screening, club box tickets to a 1STBANK Center event or concert, tickets to the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse and tickets to the Mark Valenti (piano) in concert.
You will laugh your way through a competitive game of Grins & Frowns and try your hand at winning a commemorative gift basket. __ The Rebecca Folsom Band tours nationally throughout the year and plays in music hot spots all over, like Texas, Tennessee and Hawaii. Rebecca and her colleagues share many accomplishments, including Nashville songwriting success and a Grammy nomination, as well as topping the Roots/Americana and College radio charts, playing the highest caliber national and international venues, and being voted best of BBC television and radio. __
Note: BCAH cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the door, so buy your tickets soon.
