Astoria Tango Club - End of the year Celebration - Two orchestras back to back!
Be part of the BIGGEST party in the whole history of Astoria Tango Club! We are closing a fantastic year, thanks to our followers and this is our way of saying THANK YOU!
During the Golden Age of the Tango dancers enjoyed live musicbands and orchestras thrived with venues vying to feature the best musicians, arrangements and vocalists. Many milongas offered evenings with two ensemblesa Tango group and a second band playing fabulous swing dance music.
The Astoria Tango Club is continuing this tradition with our biggest party everan end-of-the-year blow out starring THE ACES OF RHYTHM and the ROSS KRATTER JAZZ ORCHESTRA, an eighteen piece band that is guaranteed to keep you on the dance floor!
Youre invited to celebrate the end of the old year and on Sunday, December 30 with vintage music and a vintage vibe. Dress up and dance to DArienzos driving Tango beat and smooth, swing era classics!
NOTE: Vintage music calls for vintage attire. Youre invited to come in Tango Golden Age/Big Band Era outfits.
