Central Jersey Choral Society Presents Vivaldi
CJCS will be performing works by Vivaldi in concert at Princeton Meadow Church (545 Meadow Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540). Join us!
Antonio Vivaldi was one of the great composers of the Baroque era. He spent his most productive years as the music director of an orphanage in Venice. From there, he would compose music for strings and chorus that would inspire a generation of composers, most notably Johann Sebastien Bach. CJCS will honor Maestro Vivaldi with an evening of his works, that will include music for strings, some of his less performed choral works, his Magnificat and Credo, and feature his famous Gloria. Come spend an evening with us to experience this buoyant and intricate music.
