Advance Directive Disco
Part of Good Mourning: An Interactive Arts Festival About Grief at the Crown Hill Center in Seattle.
What's an Advance Directive? It's a written statement of a person's wishes regarding medical treatment, often including a living will, made to ensure those wishes are carried out should the person be unable to communicate them to a doctor.
We know that thinking about that is scary, but we'll have a DJ. We'll have snacks. We'll have folks who are trained to help you write an advance directive. We'll have a notary public. At the end you'll have a document that you can share with your loved ones that can cross state lines and good vibes.
