Grieving The Loss Of Companion Animals: A panel discussion
Grieving after a beloved pet has died can be challenging, especially when folks say things like, "well at least you can get another one" and the like. This panel will take that grief seriously and also offer a substantial Q&A where you can ask questions and share your own stories.
Our panelists are Heather Woodke, a veterinarian studying medical ethics, and Sonja Furney who runs "Get Your Sit Together" a service for dogs and owners who's goal is to make the lives of dogs and their families safer, more joyful, and easier through science-based training methods.
This panel is part of Good Mourning: An Interactive Arts Festival A full calendar of events can be found at www.GoodMourning.art
