NYC Broadway Masterclass
One of the biggest challenges of being a Musical Theater actor is the dreaded AUDITION. Learn how to conquer the audition room with ease, receiving personal tips from three current cast members of the Broadway hit show KINKY BOOTS: Corey Mach, Carrie St. Louis, and Fred Odgaard. The class will tackle three major components of auditions: acting, singing, and dancing.

The masterclass will be held at Ripley Grier Studios: 520 Eighth Avenue in New York, NY.

-Please prepare two 32-bar cuts of two contrasting songs of your choice that show personality and range. An accompanist will be provided. (We may only do one song.)
-If you have other music, or an audition book you use, bring it! We may have time for more than two songs.
-Please place all double-sided music in a binder.
-If you're not a singer, prepare a memorized monologue and we can work on that with you instead.
-If you have a resume/headshot, bring that as well.
-Bring sneakers and comfortable clothes to dance.
-There is a discounted rate if you would just like to observe and not participate.
-Ages 14 and up.

This will be a fun, laid back, and HUGELY informative day containing a wealth of information about musical theater!
