The Self Taught Herbalist, Part 1
Direct experience is irreplaceable in the learning process. Its what sets apart a novice and a master. You know marshmallow helps to soothe the GI tract, but have you seen it in action? Have you made a cold infusion of it? In this two hour workshop, we will focus on gaining direct experience with herbs. In addition to talking about experiencing herbs, I also have some experiential activities planned for us!
We will cover: - Creating diverse herb experiences for yourself - Guidelines about experimenting safely - What to look for when things go awry - Good resources for medicine making (Easley, Green, Gladstar, Cech)
PLEASE BRING: a notebook and pen. A mug (we will get a chance to try some teas).
