Saturday October 13, 10am - 6pm
What lies beyond whiteness and white supremacy and how can we practice its embodiment in a creative, curious, and supportive space?
Join the first in-person Human Ecology of Racism (H.E.R.) experience where we'll explore this question more fully, deeply, and courageously, than ever in the series.
H.E.R. is an experimental series, rooted in radical Black intellectual and nature-based spiritual traditions, for people who benefit from whiteness to develop, practice, share, and archive cutting-edge approaches to white solidarity.
It is a radical space designed people in white solidarity movements to take their racial justice commitments to the next level. The space supports the relearning of human ecology and culture away from control, individualism, and separation, to collaboration, collectivism, and connection, through ancestral and futuristic healing teachings and technologies.
Participants will be able to shape the day's experience, exploring themes of shame/guilt, shadows, reckoning, compassion, reconciliation, and connection, which may include:
- Land acknowledgment, learning, and ritual - Radical honesty practices - Inter-generational inventory and mapping work - Authentic relating games - Guided meditations - Affirmation activities, visions work - And more.
Participants are invited to stay overnight at Sacred Roots--camping is free. There are also other housing options in town.
Join us if you are ready to take your commitment to white solidarity to the next level.
